Balkrishna Humagai of Aneraswa University near UML has won the presidency of Gaurishankar Community Campus in Nijgarh, Bara. He won by defeating Baba Lama Bomjan, the candidate for the president of the Congress-affiliated Navy Association, by 3 votes.
Humagai got 135 votes. Bomjan got 132 votes. This is the first time that SWIU elections have been held in this campus. Out of 368 voters of the campus, 333 votes were cast.
