During the celebration of Holi on Saturday evening, a young man died after being stabbed in a dispute at Bindhi Chowk, Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city-23.

According to the District Police Office, Dhanusha, the deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Anja Yadav. According to the police, 21-year-old Dharmendra Mahato of Janakpurdham-23 has been arrested on the charge of stabbing.

According to the preliminary information given by the Dhanusha police, a dispute arose when they were having fun while playing Holi. At the same time, when Dharmendra Mahato stabbed him with a knife, he was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital. But he died during treatment.

Holi was celebrated on Friday in most districts of Madhesh, including Dhanusha, but in Janakpurdham, Holi was celebrated on Saturday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Varun Kumar Singh informed that the incident is being investigated further.
