Mahottari Police has arrested 1 person with 547 kg of narcotic ganja. Shantu Jaiswar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Mahottari, said that marijuana was seized while checking the mini truck number Ba 3 B 5832 coming from Sindhuli towards Bardibas.
On the basis of confidential information, while checking the truck on the Bardibas Gauridanda BP highway, the police arrested the driver, Sindhupalchok Bahribise Municipality-7, who is currently living in Kathmandu, and Salin Magar, 37 years old, was found with marijuana. Magar found 35 bags of marijuana hidden in the truck by making a false button. The police said that they are conducting further investigation regarding the incident.
