Jewels worth more than 58 lakhs were recovered

Armed Police Force Parsa has recovered diamonds and gold jewelery worth 58 lakh 66 thousand 927 rupees and filed it with customs.

The team deployed from the proposed border security Gulm Birganj will visit Birganj  While checking the vehicles coming from India to Nepal at the Municipal Corporation-16 Customs Main Gate, gold and diamond jewelery was seized on Saturday. 

When it was sent to Parsa for testing, the item was found to be gold and diamond, according to the market value of the item, diamond  The price is 36 lakh 15 thousand 87 rupees and the market price of gold is 22 lakh  51 thousand 840 rupees and a total of 58 lakh 66 thousand 927 rupees was submitted to Birgunj Customs Office Parsa on Monday.

Among the recovered jewelry are 10 pieces, one bracelet, nine fancy bracelets,  Four rings, four mangalsutras, 11 different types of jewelry, four lockets, 13 earrings and  DSP Narendersingh Dhami, spokesperson of the Armed Police Force, has informed that there are top 6 forces.

The police did not disclose that the jewelry was recovered from whom and from which vehicle number.
