The National Examination Board has taken information from the district authorities regarding the incident of fixing the SEE examination center in Siraha through financial manipulation. After the news of Kantipur, the board took information from the head of the district agency on Sunday.

Chief District Officer of Siraha Basudev Dahal and Head of Education Development and Coordination Unit, Siraha, Deepakraj Kalouni himself called and got information about this matter, said Chairman of National Examination Board Mahashram Sharma. Sharma says that the board has drawn serious attention to the content of the

news and it will be closely investigated. 'We are serious about the content of your news,' Sharma told Kantipur, 'it will be closely investigated.'

Education Development and Coordination Unit, Siraha, last Thursday determined 49 examination centers for SEE examination where 10,703 students from 188 schools out of 95 public and 93 private schools of the district will participate.

Exam center selection is done by the District Examination Coordinating Committee. This committee, chaired by the chief district officer, consists of five members, namely the head of the education unit, the district police chief, the district chief of armed forces, and the district chief of the National Investigation Department.

However, Kantipur published the news with a secret recording of a phone conversation between Vishal Shah Kanu, head of the examination branch of Siraha, Education Development and Coordination Unit, Siraha, and the owner of a private school, which confirms that the examination center has been moved to the said place after making financial transactions.
