The police arrested 3 people with drug hashish from Birganj on Saturday night.

Among those arrested are 23-year-old Ladu Ram of Bara Kalaiya sub-metropolitan city-2, 35-year-old Saroj Sah of Parsa Bindwasini-3 and 23-year-old Ravi Chaudhary of Birganj-11.

The police team deployed from Bishwa Danda police station seized hashish while searching the house they were renting jointly at Birgunj-15 Brahmachowk. According to the police, 6 kg 590 grams of hashish was found in 15 bags inside the yellow plastic while it was hidden in the room.

The three people were arrested and sentenced to 5 days for the offense under the Narcotics (Control) Act 2033  Parsa police spokesperson DSP Subas Bhatt informed that the investigation is underway.
