Common reasons, extramarital affairs, murders between husband and wife are on the rise
Last Saturday, the Dhanusha police received news in the morning - 'A house has been locked for a week. No one from the house was seen. The noisy house is suddenly quiet. When the police team broke the lock and entered the house, they saw mud digging in the pooja room. Looking suspiciously, the woman's body was found to be mutilated.
The body of Anjalidevi Yadav, the 20-year-old wife of Hariram Yadav of Baniniyan-5, Lakshminiyan Rural Municipality of Dhanusha, has been found there, Dhanusha police said. According to Dhanusha police spokesperson DSP Barun Bahadur Singh, Anjali's body is in a rotten state.
In the initial investigation, it has been revealed that Anjali was killed by her husband Hariram and buried under the soil in the house's Kulpuja room. Police investigation has shown that Anjali was killed and buried at home on Saturday 10th of February.
"It seems that Anjali was killed and buried at home last Saturday," DSP Singh said, "Hariram spread rumors throughout the village that his wife had left him and ran away last Sunday." On Monday, he also absconded with the child. The neighbor told the police that he heard a fight between them last Saturday.'
Anjali's husband used to take drugs. There was a fight between them. After Anjali's murder, Hariram absconded with his 10-month-old daughter.
According to Dhanusha police, the mystery of Anjali's murder has been revealed only after eight days. DSP Singh said that searches are being conducted at all possible places where Hariram might be hiding and after he is brought under control, the reason for Anjali's murder will be revealed.
19-year-old Ishal Prasad Kurmi of Virganj-27, Parsa, left home on February 7, telling his father Jogindra Prasad that he was going to work. After he did not return home until late, the family applied to the district police the next day to search for Ishal. Parsa police searched for Ishal everywhere possible. The police also searched friends, family, neighborhood and where he works. 4 days after Ishaal 'disappeared', his body was found floating in Vedaha river on February 11.
When the Parsa police investigated the Ishal case, it was revealed that he was murdered and his friends Mukesh Prasad Yadav, Arun Kumar Yadav and Muna Tiwari of Birganj-27 were involved in the murder. During the game of Tas, there was a quarrel between them over 3 thousand 500 rupees. On the pretext of 3500 rupees, they were so desperate that they took the life of their friend Ishal. When there was a dispute over money while playing Tas, Ishal was killed by the three friends and thrown into the river . Parsa police chief SP Gautam Mishra informed that the three people have been arrested and the investigation has been started.
On December 4, the body of 33-year-old Shahid Ansari was found tied in a sack and dumped in Khaira Kholsa of Mithila Vihari-2 Purandaha in Dhanusa. They informed the Dhanusha police after they smelled the person who was going through the Kholsa road. When the police pulled out the body from the hole, not only was it smelly, but it was decomposed beyond recognition . According to Dhanusha police spokesperson DSP Singh, even the locals could not identify the body.
"We prepared a sketch and published it to match the deceased's Janten Hulia," said DSP Singh, "66 days after the body was found, she came in contact saying that the man seen in the sketch could be her husband." Then the Dhanusha police's investigation revealed a terrible part of the murder caused by an extramarital affair.
Ansari of Kamala Municipality-6 of Dhanusha lived in Qatar for foreign employment. Rajkishore Yadav, husband of Anita Kumari Yadav of Mithila Bihari Municipality-6 in Dhanush was also in Saudi Arabia on foreign employment. Ansari, who is in Qatar, got in touch with Anita. The conversation between them that started with hi-hello turned into deep love .
Ansari used to send money to Anita from Qatar. The love between Dhanusha and Anita and Ansari in Qatar was not limited to the phone. Ansari would often meet Anita when he returned home. After Anita's husband Rajkishore returned from Saudi, they hatched a plan to call Ansari from Qatar and kill him.
Anita sent a fake medical report that his wife Azima Khatun was ill and called Ansari to Nepal from Qatar on 26th of November last after her love with Ansari started to give 'stress'. After landing in Kathmandu, Ansari made the first phone call to Anita. It was advised to meet between both of them. According to DSP Singh of Dhanusha Police, Ansari reached Anita's house as per the advice.
"Anita and her husband Rajkishore kept Ansari hostage in the bedroom," DSP Singh said, "It seems that he was killed by an ax on the morning of November 27." They tied the body in a sack and threw it in a bag. Soon after Anita's husband, Rajkishore returned to Saudi . Anita is in police custody. According to DSP Singh, after registering the case in the court, a letter will be written to Interpol through the headquarters to arrest Rajkishore.
The investigation of the police has shown that killings have started to take a different form in recent days in Madhesh. According to the Madhesh Police Office, Janakpur, 43 people have been killed in Madhesh only up to the end of the current financial year. Among them, 27 are men and 16 are women. During this period, 6-6 people were killed in Dhanusha and Saptari, 5-5 in Sirha and Mahottari, 8 in Sarlahi, 4 in Rautahat, 7 in Bara and 2 in Parsa. The police have arrested 59 people including 42 men and 17 women involved in the murder.
Similarly, in the fiscal year 080/081, 128 people were killed in Madhesh province. Out of which 89 are male and 39 are female. According to the provincial police, 21 people were killed in Dhanusha, 20 in Siraha, 18 each in Rautahat and Parsa, 17 in Saptari, 15 in Bara, 10 in Sarlahi and 9 in Mahottari. In the last financial year, the police arrested 262 people in 118 cases of murder. In the fiscal year 079/080, 117 people were killed in Madhesh province, according to the data of the provincial police office. Of which 75 are men and 42 are women . During this period, 14-14 people were killed in Saptari and Bara, 12-12 in Sirha and Mahottari, 15-15 in Dhanusha and Sarlahi, 16 in Parsa and 19 in Rautahat. During this period, 114 cases of murder were registered and 160 people were arrested.
DSP Singh of Dhanusha Police says that foreign employment, misuse of digital platforms, family problems and immoral relationships have led to murders in recent times. "The incident of murder has taken a different form in Madhesh," he said, "the bitterness between husband and wife has started to reach the point of murder." "
