After demanding 3,500 rupees as a ransom, an angry young man killed his friend in a film style.
The District Police Office has released 3 people involved in the incident. The body of 19-year-old Ishal Prasad Kurmi of Birganj-27 Udaipur Ghurmi was found floating in the river on February 11 at 5:30 in the evening of Birganj Metropolitan City-28 Jagarnathpur, about 500 meters west of Bhedaiya river. From the investigation conducted by the team including SP Gautam Mishra, it was revealed that Ishal was killed at 6:10 pm on February 7.
It has been revealed that 19-year-old Mukesh Prasad Yadav, 19-year-old Arun Kumar Yadav and 19-year-old Muna Tiwari were involved in Ishal's murder. On February 7, Mukesh went to play Tas near the incident site along with Ishal and his neighbor friends. The police said that Mukesh had given a statement that he killed Ishal and threw the sheep in the river in collusion with Arun and Muna when there was a dispute over money.
According to SP Mishra, both deceased Ishal and Mukesh lost money while playing Tas. During that time, Mukesh had borrowed Rs 3,500 from Ishal. After playing Tas, Mukesh got angry when Ishal asked for money. "An angry Mukesh said that he also watched the South Indian movie Marco on the same day," said Mishra, "Mukesh has admitted that he killed Ishaal by repeatedly hitting his head on a nearby velor tree as seen by the villain of the said movie.
Ishal, who was unconscious due to a serious head injury, was thrown into the river by the three of them, tying his hands behind his shirt. He also threw his bicycle in the river. Along with Ishal's dead body, his wallet, bicycle, slippers, mobile phone etc. have been recovered from the spot. SP Mishra said that the three arrested persons have been submitted to the district court and further investigation is underway.
