On Sunday, the police arrested two people with illegal sal wood from Chandranigahpur in Rautahat.
Based on a special information, the patrol team deployed from the area police office Chandranigahpur arrested two people. Jaikishore Kumar, 32, and Sanichar Dhami, 40, were arrested from Chandrapur Municipality-4, informed DSP Rajkumar Rai of Ella Police. 21 cufeet of sal wood pellets and 4 bicycles were seized while they were being loaded on 4 bicycles and taken from Chidaya Dah to Chapur Bazar.
Forest chief Hemant Sah informed that the area police has sent the bicycle and wood to the division forest office Chandranigahpur.
