Two old women from Siraha, who had gone to the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India, have remained uncontacted. 75-year-old Palas Yadav of Sukhipur Municipality-5 and 55-year-old Sulena Yadav of Aurhi Rural Municipality-3 have become uncontactable.

Among them, while returning home to relatives after the Palas Mela, the family said that there was no communication between Fefna railway station in Uttar Pradesh and Ballia railway station last Thursday night. Despite the family's continuous search, she has not been found.

Son Ramrizhan Yadav said that they have also applied to the local police in India for search operations and although they are also searching, they have not been able to find their mother. According to him, Palas is wearing a red color saree.

Likewise, Sulena has been out of contact since the Mahakumbh Mela. His family said that he also disappeared in the crowd on Thursday. Relatives have been searching the fair but have not been able to find him.

Relatives have appealed to the government to take initiative saying that they have filed a complaint with the local police and have not been able to find it even though they have been continuously searching for it. "We are not able to do it even though we are trying everywhere," said Badrinarayan Yadav, a relative, "If the government had taken the initiative, it would have been effective."
