54-year-old blind Shivlal Mandal, who has been forced to walk at least 26 kilometers every day holding his daughter's hand for 16 years, has received help. After the news about Shivlal's struggle was published in Ekantipur, the Vishal Group Foundation of the commercial organization Vishal Group has provided 50,000 worth of food, clothes, shoes and other goods to the mandal of Kalaiya sub-metropolitan city-3 Baidyanathpur.

Rahul Shrestha, manager of the foundation, said that he helped after the news was published in Ekantipur. A news and video was published on January 4 about Mandal's life struggle in Ekantipur. Shivalal, who was happy after receiving help, said that his life would be easier with walking stick, glasses and bicycle. He said, "This kind of support was a great relief for me."

With the help of Laurie in one hand and his daughter Shakuntala in the other hand, every day Shivlal travels a distance of 13 kilometers from Vaidyanathpur village to reach the pond market of Adapur across Dasgaja. Every day he returns from the pool market buying different types of 15/20 kg biscuits. And holding her daughter's hand throughout the day, she goes to shops in Kalaiya market and sells biscuits . This is the income of his family.

2 plots of land and a stilt house . This is his wealth. His wife earns 10 kathas in Andhia . Shivlal earns with the support of his daughter and his wife earns from agricultural work and the family with 6 children is living. It is not easy for Shivlal to sell biscuits from shop to shop. Sometimes you have to bear the sun and sometimes the rain. At one point, the police confiscated the biscuits he was selling.
