One person has been arrested in the case of extortion and electronic trading in Siraha. 31-year-old Vishwaraj Rai of Limchungbung rural municipality-4 of Udaipur was arrested by the police.
He is also an employee of Nepal Electricity Authority, Siraha. He was arrested from Hemnarayan Chowk in Sirha on Thursday, according to the District Police Office, Sirha.
An arrest warrant was issued against him by the Kathmandu District Court in the case of extortion and electronic transactions.
He has been sent to Cyber Bureau in Kathmandu for necessary action, Siraha Police Spokesperson Birendra Kumar Paswan said.
