Two youths have been arrested from Siraha with a pistol and a knocker. Siraha police arrested them with pistol and knocker from Mainavatti river in Golbazar-11, Balkwa on Monday. Those arrested are 19-year-old Pramod Thakur and 19-year-old Vishnu Mahato of Golbazar Municipality-12 Betauna.
A dispute broke out between two groups of youths at the Bhabri Mela in Mainabatti river. After this, the police team of the area police office, Golbazar, reached the spot and checked them at 8:30 in the evening. The pistol and the knife were recovered, according to the district police office, Siraha.
Police spokesman of Siraha, DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan, informed that both of them are being investigated by the district court Siraha for weapons-related offences.
