A cyclist died after being hit by a school bus on the bypass road of Birganj Metropolitan Municipality-16 on Tuesday morning.
According to District Police Office Parsa, a bus numbered No. 5 B 1504 of Tejas School in Nagwa hit a cyclist at around 10:30 in the morning.
The police said that the cyclist died on the spot. According to police spokesperson Kishore Lamsal, Taimodin Mian, a resident of Feta rural municipality-5 of Bara, died on the spot after the school bus hit him. The bus and the driver have been detained by the police.
