The body of an unidentified five-year-old girl was found on Saturday in the Jamuni river in Kudwa village of Pacharuta Municipality-9.

Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Prakash Sapkota said that the body found in the river was kept at Kalaiya Provincial Hospital. 

The police have requested the municipalities to reveal the identity of the body.
