The work of acquiring land for construction of Ramjan fun park, which was carried out by Bardiwas municipality under Gaurav's plan, has become controversial.

After the municipality published a notice on October 17 asking them to acquire land for the construction of a fun park, the landowners of the area where the fun park is to be built have requested not to use their land to build a park.

After receiving the notice that the land has been withheld from Malpot amid the disagreement of the landowners, the landowners have become angry saying that they will not allow the construction of a fun park. Land owner Gangaram Kharga said that they will not give the land for the fun park and they will not take the compensation given by the city as the city has done an unjust act.

The Municipality has stopped the acquisition of about 3 bigha of land in the name of an individual for the construction of a fun park on the bank of Ratu river located in Bardiwas-14, which is supposed to be built in an area of about 39 bigha. The municipality has started the process of acquiring 36 bigha of Ailani land and said that the land owner will not give private land for the fun park after freezing the land of individuals.

Binakumari Sah made that the municipality was asked to go for other options because all the land owners in the municipality had submitted an application saying that they could not give land. The land owner planned to build a park in that place to please the voters without building it in a suitable place, because the residents outside of Bardiwas are the land owners, they planned to remove it, they tried to create a community based on communal discrimination and the Bardiwas Municipality decided to build a park in that area to correct the mistake made by illegal exploitation of river materials in that area. He is accused of advancing the scheme.

Bardiwas municipality said that the dispute over the said land was settled a year ago. Prahlad Kumar Kshatri, head of the city of Bardiwas, said that since there was no action to fill the hole due to drowning in the frozen water in the pit on that land, there was no action to fill the hole or to give the land to the city.

Mayor Kshatri said that the land owner will be given the land in exchange for the land, since there are other land owners, the land exchange is the best option for the land owner. Otherwise, Kshatri said that the city will proceed by giving proper compensation to the land owner to complete Gaurav's plan.

The land owner says that the city should find an alternative for their land, that they cannot stop the land without consent and seek legal justice after going through the process of forced acquisition. Gangaram Kharga said that it is wrong for the city to withhold the land without determining the compensation, so the land taken for residence cannot be given to the park. He said that the city will not listen to their voices through the legal process.
