On Wednesday, the police arrested one person on the charge of kidnapping 30-year-old Hiraman Mahato of Tejapakad-2 of Paroha Municipality of Rautahat. The police have started an investigation against him in the case of kidnapping and body hostage.
22-year-old Sudhir Koiri from Sitamadhi Basbitta, Bharat Vihar district was arrested on the charge of abducting Mahato from Madhopur located in Madhavnarayan Municipality-6 of the district at 7 pm on 9th Baisakh, 2080 at 7 pm and taking him to India and holding his body as a hostage. Gupta informed.
Prani Gupta said that after the kidnapping, the fugitive Koiri was sneaking to the neighboring Sarlahi border area and was arrested with the help of the Sarlahi police. After being kidnapped and taken to India, Koiri demanded a ransom from the family members. After being rescued by the security personnel, a kidnapping and body hostage case was filed against Koiri.
