Kidnapped child rescued from Sarlahi

A 15-year-old boy who was abducted was safely rescued by the Sarlahi police from the border village.

An Indian along with two Nepalis involved in the kidnapping was detained by the police on Monday. Weapons have also been recovered from them. 

A 15-year-old boy from India was abducted and held hostage by the police in the house of Ramji Sah, located in Brahmpuri Rural Municipality-4, a border village of Sarlahi.

19-year-old Vikram Paswan, 68-year-old native of Sahahit, has been detained by the police on charges of kidnapping while rescuing the child. Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Shrestha informed that 27-year-old Prachan Sah of Rajwada Gram Panchayat Musharnia tol, Sitamarhi District, Bharat Vihar State, has also been detained. 

According to him, 1 sawed-off pistol, two rounds of bullets, 1 mobile phone, 1 sharp knife, 1 hammer and a motorcycle with Indian number plate BR06BT 2850 have been recovered from the place where the kidnapped child was rescued. 

The district police office said that the three arrested persons are being investigated by the district court for the crimes related to kidnapping, body hostage and arms embezzlement.
