While talks and discussions for unity between the Madhes party are going on, the Democratic Samajwadi Party (LOSP) under the leadership of Mahanth Thakur has formed a negotiation committee under the coordination of leader Jitendra Sonal.

A 5-member committee has been formed under the coordination of Sonal, who is the senior vice president of LOSPA. According to LOSPA, a committee has been formed for dialogue, cooperation and functional unity among the political forces struggling to achieve more political rights by institutionalizing the federal democratic republican governance system.  In the

committee, another senior vice president of LOSPA, Umakant Jha, vice president Ram Prakash Chaudhary, general secretary Dr. Surendra Kumar Jha and Manish Kumar Mishra. Committee coordinator Sonal said that the main objective of the committee is to identify the common agenda of the parties and create a basis for political cooperation and unity.

'A common initiative of all political forces is necessary to ensure the rights of the Madhes. The committee will open the door for dialogue and cooperation to unite Madhes-centric parties,' said Sonal.
