In Jaleshwar of Mahottari, the students have protested saying that the headmaster misbehaved with a girl student. The students have accused Sanjeev Jha, the principal of Lakshmi Chandi Murar Secondary School located in Jaleshwar-2, of abusing a girl student studying in class 7.

On Friday, the student reported that the principal abused her in her class as well as in other classes of the school. The students protested after the school hours started on Sunday. The protesting students have demanded that action should be taken against Prof. Jha.

Mahottari police chief Nakul Pokharel informed that after the student protest, Prof. Jha was called to the district police office and interrogated to understand the allegations. Pokharel said that work is being done to remind the students to stop the

movement and further inquiries about the incident are underway. Now the students are protesting in front of the school and in front of the district administration office.
