Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that 'the days of fooling around by saying magic number' are over. Prime Minister Oli, who is also the chairman of the party, said this while addressing the large party entry and general meeting organized by CPN-UML Parsa at Auraha of Sakhuwaprasouni Rural Municipality on Sunday.
"The country's politics has become very unstable, the days of fighting between big parties and jumping from one shoulder to the other and climbing on the shoulder of the other and saying 'magic number' are gone," he said.
Now two major parties of the country have formed a joint government,' he said, 'This is not a coalition, this is a joint government.'
Prime Minister Oli admitted Pradeep Jaiswal, the former chairman of Sakhuwaprasauni Rural Municipality, to the UML with a tika and garland. Jaiswal was elected from Jaspa in the local elections of 2074.
Prime Minister Oli welcomed everyone saying that the party has entered to make the campaign that UML should be developed as a decision-making power worthwhile.
On a different occasion, he has also claimed that the old plans that have been stalled have moved forward and the speed of the country's development has moved ahead.
We also started the work of Sunkoshi Marine Diversion for irrigation. The work of the plan, which we started in the past but got stuck after the government left, has now picked up speed," he said, "The current joint government of Congress and UML has advanced the pace of development. The work of widening the east-west highway has also progressed.'
"Leaders who are called the messiahs of Madhes come with the demand for development of Madhes instead of coming to say that the article of the constitution has to be changed," he said, "Nothing comes out of that article." The people have been kept confused by politicizing the articles of the constitution. The welfare of the Madhes and Madhesi people is not in their demand.
Farmers should be taught how to modernize and produce more crops, he said. "We understand the problems of development and infrastructure," he said, "Construction of fast track connecting Madhes and Kathmandu". It's happening.'
