Bara district is considered a 'hub' for industry. But the Industrial Household and Small Industries Office in this district has been without a chief for the last three months. This office is under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Madhes State Government. But this Ministry itself has been running under the Acting Secretary for about a year.

Engineer Sushil Sah, a resident of Feta rural municipality of Bara district, is in charge of acting secretary of the ministry. He is a provincial adjustment engineer. He has been holding the ministry for one year as acting secretary in the position of secretary in the ministry.

Acting Secretary of the Ministry Shah said, "The authority to transfer belongs to the Chief Minister's Office Administration. I have spoken to the Chief Minister. But nothing happened. But I will send it to someone from the ministry.'

He said only until he could transfer and send it as he wanted. Sah, who was unable to send a chief to the office under his own ministry in his home district and took charge of the ministry himself as an engineer, did not want to open up with Kantipur, who took over as acting secretary of the ministry.

Deputy Secretary Dharmendralal Karna, who was the post of Deputy Secretary, was transferred to the Transport Office in Birganj on October 7.

Ali Sharan Ansari, Assistant Level Sixth Branch Officer of the Household and Small Industries Office, said that due to the absence of the head of the office (Deputy Secretary), no budget mobilization and programs could be carried out for the current financial year.

"An initiative has been taken from the district administration office for the head of the office, but no one has come," he said. Due to lack of deputy secretary, Ali Sharan took over the office. He said that due to the absence of a head, the 'Bhagat Sarvajit' skill development program reserved for the Dalit community, the skill development program for all other communities, and other financial transactions and monitoring programs of the office are at a standstill.

Last October, half a dozen different types of training instructors were requested for conducting skill-based training, but due to the lack of head of the office, a decision could not be taken on their application. Even the trainees could not be requested to participate in that training.

With the aim of making the community and individual self-reliant, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism under the provincial government has allocated a budget for this office for training in computers, beauty parlors, tailoring, motorcycle repair, house wiring, mobile set repair, children's toys and carpet making.&nbsp ;

service is being provided to customers. Assistant Chief District Officer Chhabiraman Bhattarai said, "I and the Chief District Officer have made requests to the Acting Secretary of the concerned Ministry and the Chief Minister's Office many times, but no one has come." I don't know how the office will be running for three months.'  He said that there are so many industries in the

district, including construction materials and food grains, that it is not possible to monitor them. "If someone asks to come to the district, the ministry is also difficult to give (send)," he said. It is bad here.'

He said that even though it has been a long time since the new vehicle of the office broke down, no one has repaired it.
