In Mahottari, 6 people were injured in the attack of the jackal. Gaushala 11 was injured by a local jackal who was returning home after working in the fields in Laxminia, Mahottari police said.

Mahottari Police Spokesperson DSP Santula Prasad Jaiswal informed that 50-year-old Manmaya Pokharel, 70-year-old Matidevi, 27-year-old Lalita Sharma, 45-year-old Neelam Devi Shah, 19-year-old Roshan Yadav and Ramchandra Yadav are among the injured.

The injured were sent to Janakpur Provincial Hospital after general treatment at Laxminia health post.
