Kishore Sah, the then branch head of Nawil Bank, has been arrested. Sah, the then head of the Bhanu Chowk branch in Janakpur, was arrested on charges of fraud.
Sah was arrested from the bank on Friday evening with the help of Dhanusha police and he was brought to Mirchaiya, DSP Panchkumar Bakhu, chief of the area police office, Mirchaiya informed. He said that further investigation is being done on him after receiving a five-day deadline from the District Court, Siraha on Sunday. He is accused of defrauding Rs 16 million.
