He said that the victory of Janakpur Bolts, whose name is associated with the religious and cultural city of the province, Janakpurdham, and the feelings and emotions of the people of the province, is also an expression of the loyalty of the people of Madhes province towards the game and the humble prayer for their team to win.
Chief Minister Singh has wished all the players, sports officials and team members of Janakpur Bolts. "Through competitions like NPL, the foundation has been prepared to promote the commercial potential of cricket and sports tourism in Nepal," he said, "Sports have developed the spirit of unity, harmony and tolerance." Chief Minister Singh reached the Trivi Cricket Ground in Kathmandu on Saturday to cheer the Janakpur Bolts in the final.
Janakpur Bolts won the NPL cricket title with Lahiru Milantha's brilliant batting. With the help of Milantha's 87 runs, Janakpur shocked the main contenders Sudurpaschim Royals by 5 wickets in the final held at the Trivi Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Saturday.
