Rajkumar Roomba, an office assistant working in the police unit at Simra Airport, was found dead on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police Mahendra Khadka said that he was found dead in a car numbered Wagmati Province 01-028 Ch 7616 on the roadside of Jitpursimra sub-metropolitan city-11. Roomba went to Losanda village from Simra on Friday night with other people's car. As the body was found with the door of the car open, the police suspect that it may be murder. He said that the
incident is being investigated.
40-year-old Roomba, a resident of Jitpursimra sub-metropolis-17 Naya Basti, was a relative of the airport police. Although the body was taken to Birganj Narayani Hospital, the post-mortem could not be done due to the family of the deceased. The family, relatives and villagers of the deceased have surrounded the area police saying that the murder was planned and the police could not arrest those involved in the incident.
Now, negotiations between the police and the deceased party are going on at the Simra area police office.
