The 35th International Maithili Conference and Sirha Sahitya Sangam has started at Sirha headquarters. The program has started from Friday in the courtyard of Chandra Naman Mavi in Siraha.
Former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and human rights leader Krishna Pahadi inaugurated the program on Friday. Special guests from Nepal and India are participating in the program. The program will last for four days.
Program coordinator Ramrizhan Yadav informed that the event will be held on Friday and Saturday at Siraha and on Sunday and Monday at Athi Sadan in Golbazar. In the
program, there will be a debate and dialogue on the economic, political, social, health, education, agriculture, foreign employment and other topics of Siraha along with the development and expansion of the Maithili language.
