Madhesh Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh raised questions about Finance Minister Sunil Kumar Yadav's working style and asked for an explanation. Chief Minister Singh sought information from Finance Minister Yadav on issues such as the failure of other ministries to progress due to the Ministry of Finance, delays in performance and lack of budget mobilization.
According to the office of Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Chief Minister Singh himself signed a request for information from Finance Minister Yadav on 2nd January 2081. Although the matter of Finance Ministry was discussed several times in the Cabinet meeting, no concrete pressure and information came, Chief Minister Singh said that he sent a letter to Finance Minister Yadav to send a concrete pressure.
'The problems are discussed in the meeting, but no work is done,' Chief Minister Singh said, 'I have sent a letter to the finance minister and asked for a firm squeeze. That is not an explanation. It is a regular procedure to send a letter to the minister and ask for an answer.
Finance Minister Yadav said that the letter sent by the Chief Minister has not been received. What is the purpose of sending a letter to the minister who is in the government? I have not been able to understand,' Minister Yadav said, 'I have not received information about the matter for which clarification was sought from the Chief Minister's Office. The Ministry of Finance will coordinate. Not working.'
'The progress of the ministry will be requested by the Ministry of Finance, but there is no information whether the Chief Minister can send a letter to the Ministry of Finance and ask for an answer,' he said.
When the chief minister asked the finance minister for an explanation, the parliamentarians suspected that the relationship within the ruling coalition was deteriorating.
