A corruption case has been filed against five people, including the then chief administrative officer of Siraha's Dhangadhimai Municipality.

The Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission has filed a case in a special court on Thursday against the then chief administrative officer of the municipality Gopal Prasad Bagale, accounting officer Purushottam Prasad, then head of health branch Surit Chaudhary, then head of Jinsi branch Sampait Yadav and Helping Multipurpose Pvt Ltd Maiti Devi Kathmandu and the managing director of the firm Madhav Prasad Gautam yes It is mentioned in the charge sheet of the authority that they committed corruption of 460 thousand 810 rupees in the name of buying medicine. 

The authority has also demanded from them to pay a fine of 460 thousand 810 rupees per person and imprisonment according to the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059.
