In Ramgopalpur-2 of Mahottari, CPN-UML's Sakivul Khan won by getting 631 votes. Khan won by 97 votes behind Aitikumari Yadav, the candidate of CPN-Maoist Center. Khan's rival Yadav has received 534 votes.
Announcing the election results, Chief Electoral Officer Rajkumar Koirala informed that UML candidate Khan won by getting the most votes.
Similarly, Mohammad Janif Khan of Nepali Congress got 284 votes and Najamuddin Khan of Janata Samajwadi Party got 38 votes, according to the Chief Election Officer's office.
