According to the district election office, 73.37 percent votes were cast in all the three wards in the voting which started from 7 am to 5 pm. According to Election Office Rautahat, 69.08 percent votes were cast in Ishanath Municipality-7, 69.36 percent in Rajpur-6 and 81.32 percent in Gadhimai Municipality-8.
