One more dead body was found drowned in Balara in Sarlahi. The body of 27-year-old Pawan Giri of Balra Municipality-1 Hathiyul, who had been missing for four days, was found on Tuesday.

The police said that Giri's body was found from Sitaram Pandit's sugarcane field on the Dasgaja side of Nepal-India border in Balra-3 Lakshmipur.

Locals found Giri's dead body submerged in water. According to the police, Giri Ba. 27 P. 9208 was walking on a motorcycle last Friday around 6:30 pm saying he was going to Busbitta Bazar in India and after that he was lost.

While returning from India, it is assumed that he may have drowned after the flood in the Wagmati River entered the village. The body has been brought to the headquarters Malangwa for post-mortem.

Similarly, the body of 15-year-old Mukesh Mahato of Wagmati Municipality-9, who went missing due to floods in Sotikhola last Saturday, has also been found. His body was found in a decomposed state, according to the local police office, Barhathwa. According to the data of the district administration, 3 people drowned in Sarlahi.

On Monday, the body of a drowned child was recovered from Balra.
