Rajarshi Janak University, headquartered in Janakpur, has started collecting suggestions for making a 10-year strategy. The university, which is planning to improve the quality of education and create the atmosphere of technical education, is taking opinions and suggestions from the stakeholders.
The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Amar Prasad Yadav informed that a 10-year strategy will be made based on the suggestions given by the stakeholders. He said that suggestions are being collected to make Rajarshi Janak University a hub for technical education. "We are starting the study of hotel management and mass communication soon," Vice Chancellor Yadav said, "Other courses of technical education are also starting in the university."
University registrar Satyanarayan Sah said that everyone's support and cooperation is necessary to move Rajarshi Janak University forward. He informed that suggestions will also be taken from the people of Janakpur in Kathmandu.
University Prof. Pushkar Bajracharya, Prof. Dr. Mahanand Chalise and Hariprasad Upadhyay have been appointed experts and are collecting suggestions. In the conference Prof. Bajracharya suggested that Rajarshi Janak University should be made a place to study scriptures. He said that Rajarshi Janak University should work to make Madhesh's education of quality and produce manpower that can be consumed in the market.
Rajarshi Janak University has collected suggestions for making a 10-year strategy with social workers, scholars, professors, employees, various educational organizations, donors, doctors, university assembly members, party leaders, bank representatives, local level leaders and media workers.
