The land that was acquired and registered in the name of the individual has been restored in the name of the government. About 4 bigha of government land in Jagarnathpur rural municipality-3 Bijbaniya of Parsa was registered in the name of a person after creating a lease document.

On Wednesday, the land was returned to the name of the Government of Nepal based on the documents with evidence after a complaint was received at the Land Port Office Parsa.

On the basis of the documents, two persons registered the name in their name after purchasing three bighas of 18 kattha land in Bijbaniya Gavis-2 of Savik. Chandrakali Kurmeen and Mahendra Prasad Godh, residents of Bahudarmai Municipality-2 Vishrampur, registered the government land in their name.

After the locals gave the notice that the government land was acquired and registered in the name of the person, the municipality collected the evidence and sent a letter to Malpot. Village Chairman Shrikant Yadav had written to the Land Revenue Office to return the land to the name of the government.
