The identities of 14 people injured in the bus accident that occurred in Rolpa on Wednesday have been confirmed. Among them, the condition of 4 individuals is serious. They have been sent to Dang for further treatment.
Those seriously injured in the accident are 25-year-old Junmaya Pun Magar of Ghartigaun, Madi Rural Municipality–2, Rolpa; 19-year-old Ammar Jhakri of Gairigaun, Triveni Rural Municipality–7; 39-year-old Ram Bahadur Gharti Magar of Rangsi, Parivartan Rural Municipality–2; and 25-year-old Manisha BK of Kyuri, Rolpa Municipality–3. They have sustained deep injuries to various parts of their bodies.
Among the injured, 50-year-old Sunita Gharti Magar of Sarra, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City–16, Dang, has injuries to her back and head. Others injured include 30-year-old Sunita Budha Magar of Madi Rural Municipality–2, Rolpa; 45-year-old Mira Budha of Parivartan Rural Municipality–4; 29-year-old Bishal Pariyar of Madi Rural Municipality–2; 29-year-old Sharmila Gharti of Bhawang, Madi Rural Municipality–5; 26-year-old Chandra Bir Pun (driver) of Madi Rural Municipality–2; 40-year-old Tek Bahadur Sarki of Korchabang, Rolpa Municipality–7; 17-year-old Shivashakti Budha Magar of Pachabang, Parivartan Rural Municipality–4; 23-year-old Bishal Dangi of Haiwang, Parivartan Rural Municipality–3; and 68-year-old Bhima Pun of Madi Rural Municipality–2, who have sustained minor injuries.
Chief District Officer of Rolpa, Ganga Bahadur Kshetri, said that all the injured are undergoing treatment. Rolpa Police Chief, Superintendent of Police Panchakumar Bakhu, said that an investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
