About 550,000 rupees of unknown origin have been recovered from under the seat of a motorcycle (Lu35Pa 8959) heading towards Charkachouda from Pakdi-Chakalchauda road section in Mayadevi Rural Municipality-2.
Around 10 pm on Sunday, Rs. 548,500 was recovered from under the seat of a motorcycle (Lu35Pa 8959) heading towards Charkachouda from Pakdi. The motorcycle driver fled after seeing the police at the Abhirao on the said road section for checking.
The money was found hidden under the seat of the motorcycle. The recovered motorcycle and the money have been sent to Suthauli Customs for necessary action, said District Police Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Ripendra Kumar Singh.
