With the aim of attracting domestic and foreign tourists to Argha Durbar, Sandhikharka Municipality has held the final meeting of the 20th Municipal Assembly session at Masurpata Danda. Sandhikharka Municipality, which has distributed plans in its own assembly hall, has announced that it has passed the policy and program and budget by concluding the municipal assembly on Saturday evening from Argha Masurpata, a tourist destination in Ward 9 of the same municipality.
The municipality, which allocated the budget at the municipal assembly hall on Asad 11, has reached Argha and passed the budget and concluded the municipal assembly. A tourism circuit program is planned to be held within the municipality in this fiscal year 2083/084. Among the 6 local levels of the district, the largest and most important tourist destinations are located within Sandhikharka Municipality.
The municipal assembly was announced to have ended from Masurpata, which is two km away after visiting the religious center Argha Durbar and Argha Bhagwati Temple. In the Argha Durbar and Masurpata areas, public representatives and employees have been widely promoting through many social media platforms.

‘We made the budget and plan at the Sandhikharka Hall,’ said Chief Administrative Officer Pramod Khanal, ‘The final discussion was passed from Argha Masurpata. We have gone to Argha to promote this.’
A budget of Rs 900,000 has been allocated to place artistic and attractive 3D signboards reflecting Sandhikharka at the main entrance of the city and other suitable tourist spots for tourism promotion.
‘The tourist destinations within Sandhikharka Municipality will be developed as a tourism circuit,’ Khanal said, ‘A circuit will be built to take tourists who have come to the religious tourist destination Supa Deurali Temple to visit tourist destinations such as Khanchikot Durbar-Sandhikharka headquarters-Argha Durbar Musarpata-Lampati Durbar in Mathura, the birthplace of Janga Bahadur Rana-Chutrabeshi Siddheshwar Shivalaya Temple-Narapani-Khanchikot Hill Station-Rock Garden. Along with this, the goal is to connect tourist destinations in the entire district including other municipalities. Religious and historical destinations, including natural heritage, have their own importance and history.’
He said that the goal is especially to take pilgrims who have come to Supa Deurali to visit Argha Durbar and other places including the headquarters. Khanal says that the reason for reaching Masurpata near Arghadurbar is to promote tourism through social media.

The municipal council will create self-employment for locals through agriculture and tourism enterprises for the coming fiscal year, and administrative services including education, health, infrastructure development, drinking water, employment, environmental protection, good governance and social development will be streamlined, said the mayor Krishna Prasad Shrestha. Deputy Mayor Mishra Acharya had allocated a budget of Rs. 864.525 crore for the fiscal year 2083/084.
