Tourism Minister Khadgaraj Poudel and Bhutanese Home Minister Leonpo Tshering have met in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha.

In a bilateral meeting held at Hotel Kasai on Saturday, Minister Poudel urged the Bhutanese Home Minister to operate a direct flight from Paro to Bhairahawa, the capital of Bhutan. A delegation led by Bhutanese Home Minister Leonpo Tshering arrived in Lumbini on Saturday. Home Minister Tshering is leading the delegation to lay the foundation stone of a monastery that the Bhutanese government is planning to build in Lumbini.
