Resunga Municipality has awarded the best entrepreneurs. Out of 137 entrepreneurs, the top 10 entrepreneurs were selected and awarded. Out of them, Bin Bahadur Kunwar was awarded as the number one entrepreneur.
The best number one entrepreneur was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh and the other nine were awarded with Rs. 60,000 each, informed Suresh Khanal, Information Technology Officer of Resunga Municipality.
Kunwar of Vinod Agriculture Farm was the best, while the other four entrepreneurs are Bhabindra Ghartimagar of Arjun Resunga Multi Agro and Tourism, Keshav Rajali of Resunga Agriculture and Livestock Farm, Muktinath Panthi Chhetri of Laxmi Laxman Agriculture Farm, Gopal Nepali of Gopal Vegetable Ghumti Farm, Bishnumaya Shree of Resunga Agriculture, Livestock and Poultry Farm, Krishna Bahadur Basnet of Krishna Agriculture Production Farm, Chura Bahadur Jagi Kunwar of Bhagwati Agriculture and Livestock Farm, Lil Bahadur Thapa of Thapa Commercial Vegetable Farm and Jhabindra Lal Bhandari of New Resunga Herb Research Center.
The program was conducted in collaboration with the responsibility of promoting growth-oriented entrepreneurship and employment for these entrepreneurs within Resunga Municipality.
In collaboration with the responsibility, the 'Mission Employment' was conducted in three phases under 180 days, said the program coordinator on behalf of the responsibility. A total of 40 commercial firms have benefited from 137 applications. Out of which 40 entrepreneurs were empowered, 20 entrepreneurs selected from them were promoted and 10 entrepreneurs selected from them were promoted. Training, knowledge, skills and technology have been transferred through this program. The responsibility has helped increase employment through complementary partnerships in investment, production, marketing and results.
After succeeding in ranking first, businessman Kunwar said that he was inspired to become more aware after the municipality conducted the program in collaboration with the responsibility. 'We were doing our job, we are excited after the city brought this program in this way,' he said, 'We have received more inspiration in agricultural work, we will become stronger and work to increase more employment.' He has been cultivating vegetables on 65 acres of land for 28 years.
Resunga Municipality Mayor Khildhoj Panthi said that the program was introduced in collaboration with the government due to the common objective and understanding of all that employment should be created. 'This program has helped to further inspire and encourage business entrepreneurs,' he said, 'Entrepreneurs should become more aware and work to increase employment.' This program has helped to become self-reliant in agriculture and animal husbandry and create employment through this.
