पाल्पाका दुई नगरपालिका र आठ गाउँपालिकाले आगामी आर्थिक वर्षका लागि सभासमक्ष बजेट प्रस्तुत गरेका छन्। अधिकांश स्थानीय तहले पूर्वाधारलाई प्राथमिकतामा राखेका छन् भने केही पालिकाले कृषिलाई जोड दिएका छन्। कृषि तथा पशुपालन, युवा रोजगारलाई समेत केही पालिकाले प्राथमिकतामा राखेका छन्। वडागत बजेटका साथै विगतका अधुरा योजना पूरा गर्न अधिकांश पालिकाले बजेट विनियोजन गरेका छन्।
रामपुर नगरपालिकाले बुधबार १९औँ नगर अधिवेशनमा नीति तथा कार्यक्रम र बजेट पेस गरेको हो। नगर उपप्रमुख बालकुमारी थापाले आगामी आर्थिक वर्ष २०८३/८४ का लागि ८४ करोड ९६ लाख २ हजार रुपैयाँ बराबरको बजेट पेस गरेकी हुन्। चालुतर्फ ६० करोड १४ लाख ३४ हजार (७०.७९ प्रतिशत) र पुँजीगततर्फ २४ करोड ८१ लाख ६८ हजार (२९.२१ प्रतिशत) बजेट विनियोजन गरिएको छ।
Rampur Municipality has Rs 123.6 million as federal equalization grant, Rs 114.59 million as federal revenue sharing, Rs 25.9 million as federal supplementary (capital) grant, Rs 371.1 million as federal special grant and Rs 69 million as federal conditional (current) grant. Similarly, there are Rs 83.88 million as federal conditional (capital) grant, Rs 143.30 million as provincial revenue sharing grant, Rs 12 million as provincial supplementary grant, Rs 20 million as provincial special grant, Rs 192.25 million as provincial conditional (current) grant.
Out of the total budget of Rampur Municipality for the previous year of Rs 813.926 thousand, Rs 579.68 thousand was allocated for current and Rs 234.858 million for capital. Presenting the policies and programs at the first meeting of the 19th Municipal Assembly, Mayor Raman Bahadur Thapa said that the policies and programs have been formulated keeping in mind the needs, expectations and long-term vision of ‘a happy, prosperous, cultured city, a prosperous Rampur is our desire’ along with the needs of the city residents.
Mayor Thapa said that the policies and programs for the fiscal year 2083/84 have been formulated keeping in mind the main priorities of sustainable development, good governance, infrastructure development, economic prosperity, promotion of greenery, production-oriented entrepreneurial city, employment creation and quality service delivery, and the spirit and spirit of the new youth generation movement.

Mathagadhi rural municipality has submitted a budget of Rs 681.357 crore for the upcoming fiscal year. Rs 476.357 crore has been allocated for current expenditure and Rs 205 million for capital expenditure, informed Chief Administrative Officer Dhruv Dayal. The first meeting of the village assembly was held on Jestha 29 and the policy and program were presented in the same meeting, said village council chairperson Yama Bahadur Chidi.
Nisdi rural municipality has brought a budget of Rs 686.50 crore for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84. Rs 466.150 crore has been allocated for current expenditure and Rs 219.99 crore for capital expenditure, said the vice-chairperson of the rural municipality, Tiran Kumari Shrestha. She said that the administrative building of the rural municipality, Kemkhamcha Marg and a 15-bed hospital have been given priority.
Tinau Rural Municipality has brought a budget of Rs 637.199 crore for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84. The current budget is Rs 431.433 crore and the capital budget is Rs 205.766 crore, informed Shankar Puri, the rural municipality's accounting officer.
Tansen Municipality had made public the budget of Rs 1.69475 billion for the fiscal year 2083/84 on Tuesday.
Deputy Mayor Pratiksha Gaha Sinjali informed that last year the municipality presented a budget of Rs 1.39762 billion for the fiscal year 2082/83. Out of the estimated income of Rs 108.855 billion in the 19th Municipal Assembly, Rs 56.280 billion has been earned by the end of Jestha. In the upcoming fiscal year, Rs 90.33 million has been allocated for financial management, while Rs 685.362 billion has been allocated for current expenditure and Rs 384.12 billion for capital expenditure.
Mayor Santosh Lal Shrestha said that the policy and program had already been presented in the first meeting of the municipal assembly and passed with the suggestions of the members.
