The accident occurred when a truck with the number Na.5 Kha 1905 hit a passenger bus with the number Lu. Pr. 01-001 Kha 0665 from behind on the East-West Highway in Bardaghat Municipality-2, Chisapani.
According to DSP Madan Thapa of the District Police Office, 30-year-old Neha Gurung, a resident of Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality-6, East Nawalparasi, died in the accident. Gurung, who was injured, died at Chisapani Hospital during treatment.
