A laborer has died after being buried under sand thrown by an excavator.
Lalmani Yadav, 45, of Gadhwa Rural Municipality-2, who was working at the construction site of the Deukhuri Kalakate-Sikta postal road, has died, according to the Area Police Office in Gadhwa.
Anil Kumar Tharu, an excavator driver, had thrown sand at the bitumen preparation site. The police have taken him into custody.
