The Council of Ministers of Lumbini Province was reorganized on Monday. The five newly appointed ministers took the oath of office and secrecy before Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar on Monday.

The Council of Ministers was reorganized on the recommendation of Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya as per Article 168 (9) of the Constitution of Nepal. Five new ministers, four from the UML and one from the Janata Samajwadi Party, have been appointed to the reorganized Council of Ministers.

The newly appointed ministers are Tulsi Prasad Chaudhary, who has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives, Dilli Raj Bhusal, who has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Ramji Prasad Ghimire, who has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Health, Ratna Bahadur Khatri, who has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, and Bhandari Lal Ahir of the JSP, who has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law.

Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya, former Chief Minister Jokh Bahadur Mahara, Speaker Tularam Gharti Magar, Deputy Speaker Menuka Khand KC and others were present at the oath-taking ceremony.
