The irregular power supply in various areas, including the district headquarters, has affected the lives of the general public. With the disruption of power service, internet and communication services have also come to a standstill in most places. This has affected daily activities, including banking, communication and educational activities.

Due to the irregular power supply, problems have started to occur in the operation of mobile towers and internet service provider equipment. In some places, mobile data and Wi-Fi services have been completely shut down after backup power was exhausted. Nepal Telecom Rolpa Chief Kailash Acharya said that the problems have arisen due to irregularities in internet and telephone services.

Residents of Rolpa Municipality, Parivartan Rural Municipality, Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality, Thawang, Gangadev and Triveni areas have complained of frequent power outages and long-term outages. Arjun Dangi, an accountant from Liwang, said that business and business have been affected due to the lack of electricity. 'Without electricity, the internet does not work, online work does not work.' Payments are also stopped in business. This has affected banking services, he said, "Nowadays, most work depends on technology, and without electricity and internet, work almost comes to a standstill."

The lack of electricity service is affecting everything from school classes to government offices. Lhim Bahadur Sunar, a student studying at Jaljala Multiple Campus in Liwang, said that there are problems downloading online study materials, filling forms, and doing exam-related work. Service recipients in government offices and local levels have also complained that they have to suffer in getting services due to the non-functioning of the online system.

According to the Nepal Electricity Authority Rolpa Distribution Center, regular supply has not been available due to a problem at the power generation plant in Jhimruk, Pyuthan, for a week. The office has stated that a technical team has been deployed to repair the blocked line.

Meanwhile, internet service providers have also said that their services have been affected due to the lack of electricity. They say that it is difficult to operate towers and equipment due to the lack of regular electricity. Locals have demanded a long-term solution to the frequent power outages in the district.
