In Nisdi Rural Municipality of Palpa, which has set a goal of ending child marriage in the current fiscal year, 27 women who have passed grade 12 and reached the age of 20 and got married have been honored with cash prizes.

Women who have passed grade 12 and are permanently residing in Nisdi Rural Municipality from 1st July 2081 to 31st Baisakh 2082 and have reached the age of 20 have been given incentive prizes. At a program organized by the rural municipality on the occasion of the 8th National Women's Rights Day, women representing all seven wards were given Rs 5,000 in cash, a certificate of appreciation along with a dosalla as an incentive. The honorees were asked to submit their citizenship certificate, educational certificate of passing grade 12, and a copy of their marriage registration certificate through the ward office.
