Out of which, no amount was found to be unaccounted. Along with Dhurkot in Gulmi, Mahashila Rural Municipality of Parbat and Mahabharat Rural Municipality of Kavrepalanchok have also come to zero. Mahashila had an audit of Rs 818.483 million and Mahabharat had an audit of Rs 1.137 billion. The amount of unaccounted funds in other municipalities of Gulmi has been seen to be decreasing in some and increasing in others. According to which, Chhatrakot Rural Municipality has incurred a loss of Rs 8 lakh, Malika Rural Municipality has incurred a loss of Rs 1.1 million, Satyawati Rural Municipality has incurred a loss of Rs 2.8 million, Madane Rural Municipality has incurred a loss of Rs 3.3 million, and ISMA Rural Municipality has incurred a loss of Rs 4.7 million. Similarly, Resunga Municipality has incurred a loss of Rs 7.4 million, Rurukshetra Rural Municipality has incurred a loss of Rs 8.4 million, Gulmidurbar has incurred a loss of Rs 9 million, and Kaligandaki has incurred a loss of Rs 1.6 million.
Similarly, the report made public by the Office of the Auditor General mentions that Chandrakot Rural Municipality has incurred a loss of Rs 1.23 million and Musikot Municipality has incurred a loss of Rs 4.37 million.
After the loss of Rs 10 million, Dhurkot Rural Municipality Chairman Bhupal Pokharel said that the success was achieved after implementing the suggestions received in previous reports. 'We monitored the Pyuthan Municipality, which had zero loss four years ago,' he said, 'After working hard, we have succeeded in reducing the loss to zero this time.' He also said that in the coming days, the payment system will be further developed in accordance with the rules, policies, and procedures to keep the deficit as low as possible.
