Police have taken six suspects involved in the murder incident that occurred after a dispute at a wedding ceremony into custody from various locations.

Police have arrested six people on charges of murdering 22-year-old Bishal Chand Thakuri of Khajura Rural Municipality-6 in Banke.
Police have arrested 19-year-old Dipendra Raj Giri of Lamkichuha Municipality-1 in Kailali, 20-year-old BBS Kunwar of the same place, 18-year-old Sushil Khatri of the same place, 20-year-old Khakendra Devkota of the same place, 18-year-old Santosh Sanjyal of Pachaljharana-6 in Kalikot, and 20-year-old Rupesh Thapa of Surkhet on charges of murdering a young man in Belaspur, Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City-12, according to the District Police Office, Banke.
Four of those involved in the incident were arrested from Thakurbaba Municipality in Bardiya and two from Nepalgunj, informed Deepak Patali, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Banke. According to him, the police have recovered a knife, a motorcycle with registration number Suppra 01-014 Pa 1256, and a glass bottle from the scene.
According to Pranau Patali, during a bratabandh program at Pritam Adhikari's house in Nepalgunj-12, there was an argument between Dipendra Raj Giri and Bishal Chandra Thakuri while they were having fun at a neighbor's house due to lack of space at home. After the argument escalated, 22-year-old Bishal Chand Thakuri was killed.
According to him, Thakuri was attacked with sharp weapons including a knife and was chased while trying to escape from the room. Thakuri, who was seriously injured, died during treatment at a local hospital.
