A free burn treatment camp has been successfully operated on 25 people at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences in Ghorahisthi. 85 people have received treatment and consultation services at the camp.

The camp, organized in coordination with Nabil Bank Limited and Sushma Koirala Memorial Trust Hospital, was attended by patients from Dang and neighboring districts, said Dr. Suresh Rasaili, Acting Office Chief of the Institute.

The camp, which began on April 25, concluded on Monday. Twelve patients have been referred for further treatment from the camp. The camp, which was organized with the main slogan of 'Life does not stop due to burns, treatment can bring change in life', provided burn treatment along with free surgeries with the involvement of specialist doctors. The camp was treated by a health team including surgeons Dr. Ishwar Lohani and Dr. Raju Bhandari.

Nabil Bank has completed four such camps, including one in Dang, in collaboration with various health institutions under its corporate social responsibility. Earlier, camps were completed in Dhangadhi, Surkhet, and Birgunj. Nabil Bank has informed that the free burn treatment camp was conducted focusing on patients who are unable to afford proper treatment due to their poor financial condition.
