The second edition of the National Women's Football Tournament with a prize money of Rs 250,000 is going to be held in Butwal.

The organizers have stated that preparations for the tournament to be held at Siddheshwor Sports Ground in Butwal from April 26, organized by a family of 275 youth, have reached the final stage. The family's president, Surendra Thapa, said that all preparations including the repair of the playground, management, and team registration have been completed.

The prize money has been increased in the second edition to Rs 250,000 for the first prize, Rs 125,000 for the second prize, Rs 25,000 for the best player, and Rs 10,000 for the best players in various other categories.

Padmaraj Gaha, Ward Chairman of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City 7, expressed his commitment that the local government is always with the development of sports. The organizers have stated that a temporary parapet that can accommodate about 3,000 spectators has been arranged for the convenience of the spectators this year as well. Chairman Thapa said that the estimated cost of completing the competition is Rs. 2.785 million.

Last year's winner Trinity Youth Club Waling, runner-up Rising Star Club, Kapilvastu, Padma Sports Club Okhaldhunga, RS Club Pokhara, Nepal Police Club, Sankata Club Kathmandu, Makawanpur Football Academy Hetaunda and the host Bis Pachahattar Youth Club are competing in the competition to be held from April 26 to June 2.
