Sanjay BK, 31, of Baglung Galkot Municipality-9, who escaped from Kaski Prison, has killed an elderly man from East Nawalparasi.
He had attacked and robbed a couple in Devchuli Municipality-16, East Nawalparasi on 23 Chaitra 2082 and fled.
Jinram Thanet, 64, and his wife Gulbasania Thanet, 62, of Tangikot Tole, Devchuli Municipality-16, were arrested on charges of assault and robbery, said DSP Anil Pandit of the District Police Office, Nawalpur.

BK, who was absconding after the incident, was arrested from Sukedhara in Kathmandu after investigation by a joint team of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Gandaki Province Police Office, Pokhara, and District Police Office, Nawalparasi.
Police have recovered Rs 375,000 in cash and 3 sets of mobile phones from the arrested BK. According to the police, BK was previously in jail on charges of murdering a woman and being involved in robbery on 5 Mangsir 2080. BK had absconded during the protest at Kaski Prison on 28 Baisakh 2081.
